  A lovely quiet meandering and steep climb up a fire road to views of distant hills.

  Great hike with beautiful views of San Rafael and San Anselmo. I plan on making many trips back to this open space preserve for sure. Dog friendly too (off leash if your pup is well trained)!

  Beautiful and challenging hike. Well maintained trail but very steep. When you get to the top you will be rewarded some spectacular views all the way to Hamilton and the bay. Park at the end of Pebble Beach Drive...easy on-street parking.

  We went for a hike on a rainy day with light rain. It's great to see a beautiful Marin with blooming green color. We hiked 4 or 5 miles in total. Ponte Fire Rd is a good place to turn to start going downhill, otherwise, this trail goes on and on.
