I can't say enough about the McGlinn Cancer Center....their compassion, understanding, support, knowledge and dedication helped me to maintain a healthy, positive attitude while going through my personal cancer journey. I was devastated when I was diagnosed in May with early stage breast cancer. I’m a healthy, outgoing, professional, single, 60 yr. old woman with no family history of breast cancer and it turned my world upside down. From the Medical Assistants, Radiation Technicians, Oncologists, Surgeon and other personnel….EVERYONE I encountered at the McGlinn Cancer Center made what started out to feel like the “end of the world” for me…one of the most rewarding, grateful, empowering experiences I’ve ever encountered. My outlook on life and my future changed dramatically in very positive ways. A special mention to Kathleen McElvenney, Kim Minisce and Joshua Ferguson....you guys ROCK! I fought the good fight and won with your help....miss you all! Joy
