  Good quality beer for a good price and friendly staff. Also, really delicious pizza! Visiting this brewery is best during slower hours (ie between lunch and dinner times) because it gets very very packed in the later hours.

  Great beer and they keep adding to their place. They now have a great "game room" with a side bar, shuffleboard, and basketball arcade game. Before this the front room got very crowded, but with this back room it helps to even out the crowd and make it feel roomier. The food is excellent. Finally a place that says they do pretzels and actually does then well. Their pizzas are killer too. You cannot go wrong here with a beer selection variety as broad as any restaurant and food to boot!

  My daughter found another gem that just has to be a locals hangout. The set-up is unique.
  There is a working brewery in the middle of the building. At one end is a game room. At the other end is the bar, serving a variety of craft beers. There is also a kitchen that serves up excellent pizza and pretzels.
  I'm not much of a beer drinker, but the half glass of "on needles and pins" that I ordered was fruity and interesting, even for a wine drinker. My daughter and son-in-law heartily approved of their beers.
  We ordered the "pork party" pizza. I loved it. My son-in-law, who is a New Yorker, called it a high-quality pizza. My grandson had the pepperoni all to himself, and happily took the leftover pizza home for his breakfast.
  All in all, a fun evening!

  My only complaint about this brewery is that you need to always order your beer from the bar. There are no servers. This can be problematic if it's busy and you're trying to keep a table. Other than that it's a great place. I really like the newer area with free games and TVs. The outdoor patio is also very nice, although once again every time you want a beer you need to walk to the bar.

  Institution. A single word conveys more than can be scribed by a mere mortal. Such an experience. The memories. The laughs. The relationships. This small establishment enhances the community of Camarillo and creates memories that last a lifetime. Its beer selection allows one to set aside the day-to-day toil and focus on the present - the experience. Sure, the pizza may only seem 3 star at face value, but to the nuanced customer it complements the ale and completes a wholesome experience. And the pretzels - exceptional. Go here. Enjoy yourself. Have a beer. At Institution, you can have it all.
