  A half- grinder makes a full meal, even for a big boy like me. Made and toasted when you order so it's always hot. The bread is the best part, and they use very similar dough to make solid thin pizzas. Price is in between fast food and a sit- down joint and the sides are meh, but the grinders and pizza are worth it.

  This is the one place in town where I don't think I've ever heard anyone in my family say, "No, I don't feel like going there today." It's always a treat, always good.
  For our family it's on the higher end cost wise but it isn't that I think it's unreasonable since we often get two or even three meals out of a whole grinder. If you sign up for text discounts, they almost always send out a discount on Fridays. That helps.
  I don't recall ordering the pizza, but the grinders are tasty and filling.
  We'd never heard of grinders before moving to Bourbonnais and we're happy to know of them now.

  I really like this location. Their other location on Route 50 always feels dark, dated, and dirty to me. The staff at this location is friendly and the food is great. I wish I could get a whole grinder and customize each side as far as condiments go (not everything tastes as good the next day as leftovers), but it's against their policy and they will charge you for who halves. Oh well. Other than that I have no complaints. Awesome food!
