This is about as far south as the strip goes, but it's free. The area is not the most well lit at night, but I think it's okay. None of the parking provides ANY sort of shade, so I usually try to park next to the biggest RV I can, so they they cast their shadow on my car in the afternoon. Walking to the Mandalay Bay is about 5 minutes away and from there you can take the free tram deeper into the strip. I have also observed a free shuttle to the Mandalay Bay convention Center, so if that's where you are going, you might not have to walk (I've only seen it once).

This parking needs more lighting and security cameras because it lacks a fence as privacy towards the main side of the street.
