  I lived at Emerson with my husband and doggy in a 1-bedroom apartment from 02/2016-04/2017 when I first moved up to Florida from Mexico City. I did a lot of research beforehand (including messaging people in the Emerson group on FB) to make sure it was a good place to live. The pictures are EXACTLY what you get, right on the money in terms of accuracy. I found our apartment to be comfortable and with good amenities in the apartment and on the property. We made good use of the pool, bbq grill, free coffee in the kitchen, and tv by the pool to watch. I found the internet speed to be good always. The management staff (Felix, Jen) were always great. Only once did we have a problem with our air conditioning in the summer. They took longer than preferred to fix it but they did do it eventually. The maintenance team was great, you could put in help request online and they were very responsive and respectful. I always felt safe at the complex though life happens and I got a package stolen once (always send your stuff to the rental office). They can also be sticklers about what you leave on your balcony (but those are Celebration rules dictating what you can/can't leave on your balcony, to keep the town looking pristine). They always did a good job keeping the landscaping looking great. The gym is sufficient, you are right by the walking trail in celebration so I would recommend that instead. However if its too hot to go out, you can get your workout on inside. Personally, I am moving back there the second I get the chance!

  My family moved to Emerson at Celebration in 2017 and truly have enjoyed everything that the complex has to offer. Since the beginning when we were searching for where to live in this area we had a great experience with Jonathan. He was very patient with us in our search for an apartment and found us exactly what we were looking for. We even came back a second time and he was great with following up.
  
  We are on the bottom floor unit and really do not hear much of the neighbors above us and the unit is very spacious and new. We love the pool area and the gym is brand new and always clean. Literally its only a few minutes from downtown celebration which was a huge reason why we decided to move here.
  
  I also have to say Felix has been fantastic. I have come to him on multiple occasions asking for help understanding the rental process and questions regarding statements and he has exemplified true empathy and helped us every time. He also has been very involved in getting the community to feel like family with great events every month that he attends.
  
  In summary, last year our family searched for over 3 months for where to live and we finally decided on Emerson at Celebration and until today we only have one regret which is we wish we had moved here sooner.

  I love having chosen Emerson at Celebration as my home in Sept or Oct of 2014 at the time we reserved our place, the complex was still under construction so we were lucky to be the first tenants in our apartment.
  Complex is conveniently located close to 417 Toll Road, World Drive which is a straight drive to all things Disney, and it's about halfway in either direction to Florida Beaches from Interstate 4. The complex management staff has been the same for the 4plus years it has been open. (some changes recently due to employees having been internally promoted to other locations around the country) Felix and Anna are the property managers who run daily operations, and even though they have different responsibilities which do not and should not involve running the front end like the leasing agents they often come out of their office to assist the often busy complex clubhouse. Interacting with those two, is quite lovely. The complex has really nice tenant functions so that neighbors to get to meet one another. They try to do different things every month, they put up flyers in the mailroom, send emails, and recently begun sending text messages too. (The manager Felix even shows up to the functions when he's on vacation, that's how committed to the tenants he is) When choosing this complex as our home we had the opportunity to visit near by locations and Emerson stood out for us mainly because of the quality of their genuine caring nature for the people who walk through the door. Emerson employees have always made us feel welcome from the very first day. When discussing apartment prices, application charges, deposits, and pet charges etc. they were upfront about all of their fees, yet they took the time to ask the right questions to see if we qualified for their prefered employer program. (we did) From the very beginning of the extensive Q&A my spouse and I had for them we learned about construction type and insulation, plans for the community, expected completion dates etc. We discussed construction apartment rates and and after construction renewal rates, we also spoke of their current payment methods and their plans if any for online payments. At every renewal period the management staff have provided my spouse and I about two to three months notification of the rates we can expect to pay should we chose to stay in our apartment and although our rent has gone up each time it has been much lower than the competition in the surrounding areas. My family and I are happy at Emerson. We feel safe living here and we're happy. I was inspired to write this review because I was bothered by many of the things I read here. Noise: It is not rocket science that in apartment living there will be some noise and it is common for noise to travel. Parking: There is plenty of parking throughout the whole complex however it is common sense that you will not find parking by your front door every time you need to park. This happens at bank, it happens at the grocery store, when you go to work, so I'm not sure why some people would think this won't be the case when they get home. Landscape: The landscaping of the complex is immaculate and you often see the friendly landscaping crew around doing their jobs with a smile. Hurricane: It breaks my heart for the complex staff to read such nonsense about flying shingles during a hurricane. (really?) What the "reviewer" failed to mention was about the multiple warnings and prevention flyers which were distributed and emailed. This complex never loss power nor had any damages throughout other than shingles, which were covered right away. The whole complex staff, managers, leasing agents, and maintenance crew were all there the very next day helping with the clean up and doing business as usual.
  I think some people fail to understand the purpose of "reviews" which are geared to provide others with an objective view of a specific product or service and instead choose to use the social tool as a way to vent their frustration when they do not get their way or are not told what they prefer to hear.
